Mr. Carlos M. Mora, Jr.
CEO

My name is Carlos M. Mora Jr., and I am the founder of Veterans Vet Limited, a nonprofit organization that helps homeless veterans and other homeless individuals in McDonough, GA. I started this organization in January 2021 after witnessing a disturbing incident while waiting for medical attention at the VA emergency room in Decatur, GA. This incident made me realize that our homeless veterans need more support and resources to help them transition back into society.

Before founding Veterans Vet Limited, I served in the Navy for six years and worked at the Bronx VA for ten years, where I gained a deep understanding of the VA system. I am also a 100% compensated veteran and worked with DAV to achieve this. As the former president of the James Monroe Housing Development in Bronx, NY, I have worked with local officials and secured funding for various projects, including a senior center, a children's center, and cooling water sprinklers for children to play in.

As a reformed Jew, I have studied under several rabbis and have been to Israel ten times. I have also taken multiple conversions to the Orthodox faith. I am a 32-degree Mason and a Shriner, and I am committed to helping the poor, widowed, and orphaned.

My ultimate goal is to help homeless veterans and other homeless individuals get off the streets and become productive members of society. I work closely with Mayor Sandra Vincent and City Administrator Steve Morgan to achieve this goal. Together, we can make a difference by showing kindness and compassion to those in need.
